I'm about ready to close my accountI have seen tons of icons that were made with movie/tv show images that haven't been reported. Yet someone seems to truly hate me on here.
I will not be posting any more items here. I have the icons in my photobucket account, and will link them here in this post, but I will not be adding them to my deviantart account again. Why bother? They'll just remove them again, as if I had done something wrong.
I happen to enjoy making movie or tv show icons...animated ones, typically. I add my own items to edited movie images that I have color edited. As I have seen plenty of people who have taken an image, color edited it, and then claimed it as a manipulation and they are allowed to post and keep it, I have to assume then that what I have done should also be allowed.
Truly, I hate being at my wits end with DeviantArt, as I used to love this site. Now, I am beginning to hate it. The only reason that I'm not closing my account entirely is that I want to fave the beautiful work of others. Typically, beautiful work made up of movie images!!!
I'm worried that they're going to close my account if I get any more of these violations, which is part of the reason that I won't be posting anything else. The other reason is that I'm so pissed off right now that I'm fighting with everything I have to not throw something or break something. If I break my monitor, I'm out of luck, so...gotta behave!
